The experienced professional staff of Southern Environmental Services, Inc. (SESI) has over 40 years accumulated experience in environmental services and construction. SESI's client list reads like a veritable Who's Who of government, real estate and commercial clients including Turner, Choate, Hardin, New South, Batson Cook, and Gilbane. Government contracts have been awarded to SESI by the Department of Defense, the Department of the Treasury, the Centers for Disease Control, the National Park Service, the Department of Homeland Security, U S Customs Service, GSA, USDA and HUD.

SESI was founded and is operated by Tom & Alice Wasson. Mr. Wasson has extensive credentials in providing environmental and construction services as well as serving on industry related institutions. Currently Mr. Wasson is Chairman of the STAR Group, an advisory Board to the Georgia EPD, and President of the Georgia Chapter of the Environmental Information Association (EIA). In addition, he serves as a Board Member for HUBzone Contractors National Council, a public policy action committee helping to bring job opportunities and capital investment to underutilized areas of our nation.

SESI has performed contract work ranging in dollars up to the mid seven figures. They have an extensive network of suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants and have established a supplier diversity program for WBE, MBE, HUBzone and 8a suppliers and subcontractors.

Insurance and Bonding
SESI has developed an Insurance and bonding program to protect our clients from current and future liability associated with environmental and construction projects. We have placed our policies with A+ rated carriers to provide the best protection available. We have established a surety bonding line with Cumberland Casualty and Surety Company that enables us to provide up to $5,000,000 single job and $10,000,000 aggregate in bonding to our clients.
